St. John's Riverkeeper
GIF's, STICKERS, MERCH
For a class project, I got the opportunity to work with local non-profit St. John's Riverkeeper. Each member of our group had specific deliverables, I personally had to create 10 GIF's to be used by SJRK's and their audience on Instagram stories.
St. Johns RIVERKEEPER is a privately-funded, independent, and trusted voice for the St. Johns River and the public to whom it belongs. St. Johns RIVERKEEPER is a member of the Waterkeeper Alliance.
Today, Waterkeeper Alliance is the world’s fastest-growing environmental movement, with over 300 Waterkeeper Organizations protecting rivers, lakes, and coastal waterways on 6 continents.
Stylistically I leaned into the inky, rough around the edges, lithographic approach that St. John's Riverkeeper uses in their logo.
Color palette is earthy and muted with minor pops of color.
Scavenger Hunt
Conceptually I created the GIF's to be used as a scavenger hunt with plant and animal pairings. The idea is to spot the matching animal (or plant) from the GIF with the wildlife that could be found at the river.
